Membership:
In the State of Michigan, the Michigan CEC offers to help new student members become CEC members. They help by paying $26 of your first year’s dues!! That means you only have to pay $40 of the $66 that it costs to become a member. Michigan CEC is the only state the does this. They want students to get involved, and understand that most of us are poor.
Here is how it works:
In order to receive this offer all NEW members must fill out the membership application, and send it along with $40 (checks payable to CEC) to Mary Bradley. If you send it straight to National CEC the $26 will not get added on.
There is a brand new form for new student members that you can use, so that it is less confusing. To obtain a form please contact Mary Bradley .

*Since the application has to be sent to Michigan CEC, and then forwarded to National CEC with the $26 added on sometimes it takes a little while to get processed. Expect to wait a couple months until you receive your membership card. If you want to check up on your application call the National CEC hotline at 1-888-232-7733. They usually can answer any questions you have. If you experience any difficulties please contact Mary Bradley.
